Hey, is there a way to make the rounded borders for the swf file?
I was wondering whether it would be possible to embed a interactive swf inside the accordion.
I just purchased and downloaded this component. I opened the FLA with Flash CS3 Pro and it says “empty library”.
This happens for both demo1Accordion.fla and demo2Accordion.fla.
The file size of Accordion.fla is 131 KB, so something is in there.
Any ideas?
snow – I love you components but your AS needs commenting badly. I just purchased your commercial package. I am digging through the code to find things. Example: Was easy to add additional images in the accordion XML but reducing the width for each nav & open window to match my new size(width and height) is a nightmare in the AS. I am doing my own commenting for future use – please consider for future updates though.

I have a problem with teh accordion. I want to know if it‘s possible to user for each image, the real size, and not “menuItemArea”.
I tried to modify the .fla file but It‘s difficult.

xplora hi, I have tried changing 61-62 or 75-76 etc. but nothing much seems to happen. I want to place the accordian XML of 700 w and 350 h on a stage of 1024 w and 768 h. Aligned to top right hand side, can you please let me know what values to change where ?

Is there a way to add html tages inside the xml or a way to add in iFrames or something that would call another page?
I want to be able to put list items inside one of the containers each with a different link and don't seem to be able to do that.
Hello, I am very new to XML and I don't know how to change the values that you haven't already designated in the code. I'm sorry to bother you for such an easy question, but can you please give me an example for changing the accordionWidth and accordionHeight to 217 px and 400 px?

In reference to you post of May 16th you say by changing the x y will re-postion the navigation. Why do you say to use line 61-62 or lines 75-76. Can you give an example on what should go here in order to move the navigation?

MichaelMurdock: The Library is indeed empty because I didn't use any visual elements to build the accordion. All the code and variables you need to change in order to customize the accordion is located in the first frame on the timeline. (Click the small "a" in the frame and hit F9)
jazzycypher: My answer is always everything is possible. But I only provided functionality for clicking an entire SWF. So would be a little trickier to add interactive SWFs
Blacklevis: Do you mean "swf file" as in the entire accordion SWF file? For that you'll have to cut-paste the code from the first frame in the root document to the fist frame of a newly created symbol in the Library. Then put this symbol on a layer on the stage, then create a new layer above it, draw a rounded rectangle, right-click this layer and select Mask
