  • Hi Grigsy, there is some sample specific code which have to be removed if you use directly the files swf in the package.

On line 44 there should be

    slidingMenuSS.y = 25;

Delete it and compile the file (Ctrl + Enter).

    Regards

Having trouble getting the labels to show

  • Hi Nighteagle,

could you please help, have been having trouble with new files compiled from flash not displaying the text (labels). Everything is fine if I use the supplied files and change the xml. However I would like to change a few elements that are not controlled by the xml files and when I compile the new swf it break the text functionality.

otherwise it is working great, thanks Brett

Could you tell me which version of the Adobe Flash you are using and also if you can send me a link with component so we can fix the problem.

    Regards

  • Hi Brettspace, unfortunately the library which is used for the embedding of the vertical texts in newer than the Flash CS 3 and this cost the problem. If you want make the changes to your project file and I'll create the swf file for you

    Regards, Nighteagle

  • Hi Nighteagle,

It is a bit disappointing that this version is not compatible with CS3 as in the Flash version specs above it has it as Flash CS3. I am not sure what to do now as although it is great that you have offered to create swf's for me it is not really practical during development while checking changes are working. Sorry to have taken a while to get back,

    Brettspace

  • Hello, I purchased your slider this morning and configured it through the external settings.xml file.

However, there is a display bug I can't fix on my own: I'm displaying 6 elements (active = 335px + 5 inactive : 70px each) for a total width of 687 px. But when I load it, I'm having some white space on the right hand side : :http://www.hager.fr/flash/UF/Accordion-menu-AM/menu-without-slide-show.swf

Could you explain me where it comes from and how to correct it? Best regards

  • hi i am using cs5 flash and edited the auction files just to point to my domain in a certain folder instead of just folder name however as soon as compile any new file the labels do not display like in the past customer mentioned.

i am using the cs5 version because that was your reason before but still am experiencing the same problem, in fact if i just open the flash file in cs5 and DO NOT EDIT ANYTHING and just recompile it the same thing happens no label and thats with not editing anything at all.

all files are in correct places as the links work fine images show when i click goes to correct page i supplied in the data.xml however labels not displaying

    please answer asap

why is this as i need labels showing please advise
