Hi, I just bought this component and am checking out the readme and sample files. I don’t see anything which mentions how to use FlashVars to determine the XML file path. Could you indicate which variable I can set when calling the SWF?
Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply! Got that working, but stuck on one more issue. I’m displaying the image gallery on a sub-domain (ie. test.mysite.com), and I’m hoping to have it display images and configuration files on a different sub-domain (ie. images.mysite.com), but for some reason when I reference the images in the categ1.xml file using the full URL (http://images.mysite.com/smallimages/a1.jpg) the images don’t appear.
Can you offer some insight on how the gallery interprets filepaths, and whether it’s possible to display external images? I’ve set the allowScriptAccess variable to “always” in case that mattered. Thanks in advance, great component so far!!

It is recommended to place the swf and xml configuration file(s) in the same folder on your server. Imges can be specified using absolute url paths inside the xml configration file. If you move the xml configration file elsewhere try using FlashVars inside the html page loading the Flash movie ( swf file ) to specify the new path tp the xml config file. On how to use FlashVars check questions 7 & 8 from the tips & tricks area.

Hello,
I have two slight problems with the gallery and was wondering if you could help me out.
1) When I put the gallery online with the autoPlay mode the first image doesn't always load; the loader just keeps turning and no image appears
2) With the autoPlay mode on, if you zoom the images a bug occurs, i.e the next images go to the far left hand side of the screen.(also happens on your example)
Thank a lot!! other than that, I love it!

Sorry...I must be very tired!! I can't even remember typing in the first message on the 23rd and I didn't even see it! Thanks for your answer. The problem is that I'd like the zoom parameter to work again when the gallery isn't on the autoPlay mode. Is that possible??
Thanks again and sorry for repeating myself!

Hello im interesting in buying Advanced Image Gallery XML 03 AS2. But i want to disable the zoom in zoom out feature and instead use the previous next photo arrow that i can find in Advanced Image Gallery XML 01 AS2 (So i like 01 with the autoresize photo feature of 03). Is there a possibility to configure 03 or 01 to work as i want?
