Thanks for your nice job in treemenu. I need it in my project but i couln’t use it yet.
My project is based on just Actionscripts 3 code and it is runing from flex builder. There is no flash.
I copied the three .as classes in my project. there is e error which said that it does no know treeMenu package which is the first line of each class. can you help me how to run it in flex builder? and also I don’t know what should i do with xml code, my project is not based on xml where you give the name and id of each depth in hierarchical menu. I will be thankfull if you response me. I hope I can use it. :(

I’ve just recently started integrated flash components into my website. Each seems to be a strugle but I persist and usually solve my issues.
I think you did a great job on the xml end, It works just as expected. I’m having difficulties getting the component to fix into my website. I use visual studio and I’m manually working the component into the site. I’m not able to get the text to go away. It appears to be hard coded into the control? I’m not able to shrink the control to the proper size as the large area to the right of the control is apparently attached to the menu and when you shrink the control the menu shrinks long with it.
I downloaded Adobe Flash to try and fix my problems, but some suggestions would be very helpful.

Hi,
I just bought your menu and it works fine. However I have one question: Is it possible to use the menu in more than one page in the same website (one instance of the menu in each page)? If so, how do I customize the XML file in order to change the links and sub-links in each page? I presume I would need a new XML file and link the new instance of the menu to to new XML file, I just don´t know how to do that. Can you help?

you can used the same swf on each page and force it to load a particular XML using flashVars,
example: menu.swf?xml=page1.xml

Just to add a little more clarification to my question from last week: I need to pass the xml text through flashvars: not a reference to an external xml file.

i just bought your component as3 tree menu but i have some trouble when i implement them to my flash site project .
the problem :
when i back to the frame where the tree menu are … all my swf turn so so slowly :(

Hi There,
i need a tree menu which uses CS5 TLF fields instead of Classic text fields for international localization. TLF fields can format text right-to-left or bi-directional, but Classic fields cannot. Does the AS3 Tree Menu use TLF fields? If not, is the class code accessible enough to convert it to use TLF fields?
