Any type of video file that Flash Player supports can be played with our player. FLV/H.264 encoded video : MP4, M4V, M4A, MOV, Mp4v, F4V. It also plays RTMP and RTMP live streaming.
You can set this player to any size you want from the configuration XML file, changing the player width , the player height and the playlist width. You can easy integrate this in any project you need, HTML or Flash.
You will receive two sets of controllers (black version & white version), as you can see in Example 1 and Example 2 (both are included in download zip). Having this two sets of controllers already built, you'll be able to integrate this player in almost any of your projects.
FEATURES:
NEW*: If needed, a movie can belong to multiple categories
XML DRIVEN CONTENT
You do not need to know Flash in order to set the video player. Every setting can be done in a main.xml file making it very easy to update.
AUTO RESIZE
The controllers will reposition automatically according to width and height specified in the XML settings file. It will play 16/9 and 4/3 formats.
VIDEO STREAMING WITH BUFFER
You can set the buffer time
FULLSCREEN
It supports full screen, having all the controllers usable in full screen mode, including space bar. In full screen you can also hide or show the playlist
AUTOHIDE FOR CONTROLLERS
The controllers will auto hide on mouse out showing the entire movie
PREVIEW IMAGE - OPTIONAL
A preview image can be defined for each video and will be displayed before playing.
VOLUME CONTROL
You have a complete sound control. You can also set the initial volume
AUTOPLAY - OPTIONAL
LOOP - OPTIONAL
If set to true it will loop through the movies in the current category
DESCRIPTION FOR VIDEO - OPTIONAL
This can be disabled
COOL PLAY BUTTON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE VIDEO

In order to play/pause the video you can use SpaceBar key.

- you can have multiple instances of this player in your project by calling (using FlashVars) different xml settings file.
- you can load a specific video and category using FlashVars.

You can change the playlist width, playlist background color, categories color, categories mouse over color, the color for the frame around the playlist image. You can also set if you want the categories alphabetically sorted or not. You can also disable the playlist categories

- To be able to play H.264 video you need Player 9.0.115.0 or later.
- for Flash programmers is good to know that the entire player is in one MovieClip. It is easy to modify the design in case a different graphic design of this Video Player is needed to fit your project

Im trying to put it in a folder for my site, it plays awesome when its in the file named main but when I copy and paste it in my folder in dreamweaver to upload it, nothing comes up like it cant find the files

did you copy also the xml, css files and the video folder? You should test it on a browser after you insert it in DreamWeaver.

Hello,
In playlist.xml each movie has defined the category/categories it belongs. The drop down menu of categories is generated from what you have defined as category for each movie.

Hi, I´m triying to load this component inside another flash file. I´m trying to load it via loader class:

I´ve configured this path in the classes path:
$(AppConfig)/Component Source/ActionScript 3.0/User Interface
like it says somewhere in the help file....but nothing happens. Can somebody tell me what am I doing wrong.
I´ve made it pasting it inside the stage too, and using the com folder as path for the clasess, and player as the document class...I´m a bit lost.
