LAYOUT:
- Slide Show width and height;
- Border thickness, border color (you can choose to hide it);
- Background color.
TRANSITIONS:
You have seven transitions to choose from. You can attach your desired transition to the image you want. Just change attribute transition="1" 2 and so on till 7.
BUTTON STYLES:
You have three (3) button styles to choose from, or you can hide them from being displayed.
AUTO PLAY:
You have three (3) options for auto play:
- Normal auto play with your selected transitions;
- Auto play with RANDOM images and your selected transitions;
- Auto play with RANDOM images and RANDOM transitions.
CAPTION:
You also have thee(3) options for image caption:
- Show caption on Roll Over;
- Show caption fixed at the Bottom;
- You can completely HIDE caption;
You can also HIDE SHOW play/pause BUTTON EXTERNAL LINK ON IMAGES. Now you can attach href on release on selected images as well ( exp: if you have 5 images and you want only image 3 not to be linked you can do it ).
HELP
Slideshow comes with HELP file which explains how to use this slide show in your project. Code is very Well documented in FLA file line by line, which means you can even customize that if you want.

In your Help file:
“Change XML file URL to your XML file on line 391 of the action layer.”
How do I do it? I what program?
If I don’t do it what do I loose, loading speed?
Also, do I have to keep your original galery.fla in my directory?

I think this is great!!
I am also wanting to use this to create several .swf files that are external to a main .swf movie. That would allow the user to select which gallery to view.
Is it possible to use the link in the XML to return back to the main .swf to select a different gallery to view?

I would like to use this component to develop a furniture web site.
I will use the swf to display 5 or 6 images of each product.
Is there a way that I can use the same swf file and point the XML file in the HTML code?
Example:

Hi,
I have just bought Customizable Dynamic Transition XML Slideshow v2. However the banner link can only link using href either target “_self” or “_blank.
Does anyone know how to modify the code for image link so that It can use href either target “_self” and “_blank by just changing script in images.xml?

Hi Tabaheee,
I’m about to purchase your gallery, can you tell me if you can increase the thumbnail size along with the height and width of the gallery? I am needing to change it to 600×500 pixels, thumbnails of 80×80 pixels, and make the images borderless on a black background?

In XML file you have options to set size for large images [ whole gallery size ], border color and size but you will need to modify thumbs size in FLA file.

Can I not place the .swf file onto any page I want in my website? I don’t want it to sit on a blank page by itself, I want to integrate it with my site.

Yes I have uploaded the .xml file. You can see that I did when you look at your regular index page here, on my test page here: http://www.hotdesigns1.com/HomeSlideShow/index.html
However I do not want to use it there, I want the .swf file, the slideshow, on my home page where I first showed you. (here: http://www.hotdesigns1.com/indexnewhomepage.html)
There is some problem with javascript or a wrong path or something but I do not know what it is.

I didn’t see a progress bar or anything. Does this load each thumb/image individually or are all photos loaded when the .swf is loaded?
Also, is it possible to disable the auto scroll on the thumbnails and use the arrows you have on the left and right to scroll through the thumbs?
Can you disable the autoplay?
