I presume i just change this bit of code:
launch.onRelease =function ()
{
getURL(link, "_blank")
//gotoAndPlay(10);
}
but to what I am not sure? I really want each link to be to a different frame so in the XML file do I put the Link as a number instead of a web address.
LINK="10" instead of LINK="www.hotmail.com"
thanks for any help

Hi Is there a way to pause the animation? I am finding that the animation slows down my browser‘s response to clicks on other links on the page. Thus I would liek to add a pause/play button.
Can you help with the actionscript?
Thanks,
Geoff

Hi, I‘d like to be able to add Japanese text to the menuData.xml file but it won‘t show up on the movie itself. I‘ve tried to save the file in several different encoding types but none seem to work for me.
I do have Flash pro 8 installed on my computer so if there is something I should configure from in there and re-save the menuData.swf file please let me know what I should do.
Thanks!

Hi Edkeyte
You need to embed the Japanese characters from the text field property, also you need to unescape the text value from the xml file. the text value in xml file should be endcoded.

Is it possible to add more than just text to the “INFO” part of the xml? I would like to add html functions, like links and other html code in that area. When i add html to that area and save and relaunch the .swf….nothing shows in that “INFO” area. Thanks for your help

Hi
Sorry but I don't understand what I am supposed to do with this.
I have downloaded it and opened the sample index.html file. I changed the menuData.xml file and added a real link for one of the images. But when I click on the "Launch Web Site" nothing happens.
I only have Flash MX 2004 and can not open the FLA file.
Can you help?
Paul
