  • Hi there,

Is it possible to make an hyperboloid ?

    Thanks

  • This shape is currently not possible but thanks for the suggestion. We'll see if this can be incorporated into a future release.

  • Is there any way to allow a sigle click to zoom the image in and out and have a double click activate the url link function. Or is there another way to have the large image manipulated to call the link. I like using the mouse completely (scroll bar, click to select an image to zoom in on and then click to return to the full wall, but I need to be able to click on the large image only to open a new window. The idea is that someone can look at an overview of the pictures, select one to see bigger and then decide whether they want to use it as a link or send it back to the overview of the wall.

  • You can detect when the large image is clicked on and have it open a URL when clicking on it, however this will happen whenever the large image is clicked on. There are events to detect when it is clicked on and when it is returned to the wall without clicking on it.

  • Is this xml driven

    #  /  PM  /  posted on Jun 25, 2008
  • Yes it is XML driven. The images through XML and most of the parameters can also be set through XML.

  • Do you get the .fla file when you download the component? I really need this.

  • The source files are not supplied with this component. It is a compiled component.

  • Concerning answer to sparklingmoments question of June 21, 2008. I didn't quite understand the answer. Unfortunately I'm alittle tech-inpaired and am just learning more about Flash. I also would like to incorporate the same results as sparklingmoments is looking for and possibly use the wall as a showcase for products in an online store I'm developing. I love the wall itself and I understand that you are able to attach a URL to the large pictures. but....Am I to understand the large picture immediately goes to the URL instead of allowing the viewer to decide if they want to do that or to look at the large picture then continue to view other objects on the wall without automatically going to the URL. Also if they automatically go to the URL will they be able to go back a page and arrive at the thumbnail wall.
    Thanks for your time.

  • This is an excellent component, it comes with many FLA examples which is really helpful. :)

But it needs to come with a script that will automatically generates the base XML files from a directory of images, with the image dimensions. It takes so long to create the XML files, and manually enter the image name and dimensions. Maybe create a script that does it and sell it as an add on. Right now I have folders with images, and I have to manually enter each image one at a time, enter the height, then the width, then the params.... I'll go crazy half way through!

  • Wow, this thing looks great!!

Just wanted to know if it is possible to add any sort of decription to each image. I'm a graphic designer and this wall would be great to display various artwork but i would like to be able to add some client info to each image. I'm guessing i could also just use a png file that includes text under each image?

    Cheers

  • Whenever a user double clicks on an active image (large). The wall does not reset properly as it effectively seems to register the zoom position on the second click as the new reset position, hence it doesn‘t go back. I have to effectively refresh or restart the movie to get it working as i wish again.

Is there a workaround or fix for this?

    Cheers

  • How do i upgrade to Pro if i purchased the 3d wall from flashcomponents and not the flashloaded site?

    #  /  PM  /  posted on Aug 27, 2008
  • Yes, I‘m also in a bit of a quandary because I want to upgrade from the version that I purchased here. FlashLoaded is offering the Pro version now, but doesn‘t recognize that I purchased the regular version here. Does anyone have a solution so I don‘t have to shell out $200 when it should only cost me $100?

  • I'm thinking about purchasing the 3D wall package for my company, but one deciding factor is whether you can add a title to each image. This is the same question raised by Owen Boland the graphic designer on the 17/07/2008. Can you please provide an answer as soon as possible so I can decide whether to buy or not.

    #  /  PM  /  posted on Nov 11, 2008
  • You can add a title and description for each image in the XML file. You would then place textfields on the stage in fixed positions to display the titles and descriptions for all images.

Please let us know if you have any more questions about this.
