Hi Jaderrin,


I’m glad you like the site. Your web host needs to have PHP installed for this form to work but all the major web hosts that I know of have PHP installed so that shouldn’t be a problem. Make sure in the email.php file in the second line where it says, $sendTo=”“ that you put your own email address between the quotes (keeping the quotes) and save the file.


Also be sure you upload the email.php file to the same directory on your web host server as your swf and html or your script may not be found when called from Flash. Once uploaded, play your movie and send yourself a message. This will test to make sure everything works OK If you didn’t already know, you can’t test from your own computer’s hard drive unless you have the proper configurations and PHP installed (which, more than likely, is not the case). It’s ok though, since you don’t need it on your personal computer, just your server. And if its working from there, then all is good.

When you receive the email message, depending on how your email client is set up, you may have to click “details” to see the senders name and email address but the message will always be visible regardless.


If you are still having problems after trying these suggestions attach and send to design2cool@gmail.com your swf and email.php file. I will take a look and make sure they are working correctly. Also, tell me who you are using as a web host.
