Sparkling "pixie dust" falls from an arched trail. This utilizes flash 8 blending modes to make "pixie dust" appear bright and "sparkly".
*designed for use with Flash 8, blending mode effects are not compatibile with previous versions, however the effect still works nicely in these older versions.
Arch shape is fully customizable by editing well-commented actionscript.

Hi there,
I puchased your pixiedust effect from flashcomponents.net – thank you so
much, this was exactly what Ive been looking for.
I have used your component in a series of SWF files, I am then using a flash
banner rotator to fade the files into each other & create a loop – all using
XML.
An issue Ive come into is that your pixie effect will only play once (on the
first slide)- ideally Im wanting the partcile arch to show each time the
next flash banner shows.
Can you tell me how to do this?
Alternatley, perhaps a timed loop on your arch would be a consideration. ie:
adding an option to play randomly or after x amount of seconds?

This seller doesnt seem to offer any support on his product. Ive PM’d him, emailed him on the email addresses given & left a message here – with no reply in 2 weeks.
Anyone else out there have an opinion on my previous post below? – it would be very much appreciated.
