Works with buttons and movie clips
Create tooltips by simply dragging and dropping the component onto your Flash objects. Optional parameters can then be set in seconds.
Displays images, text and SWF's
Your tooltip may include a combination of text and images or SWFs. The images can either be loaded from the library or externally and can be positioned either above or below the text as well as left, right or center aligned. The space between the image and the text may also be adjusted.
Built-in opening and closing effects
Select from 5 built-in opening and closing effects: Bounce, Fade, Spiral, Spring and Zoom. The speeds of both the opening and closing effects are customizable.
Square or rounded corners
You can specify the radius of the corners to create a square or rounded look.
Customizable borders, colors, text, padding, opacity
The component give you full control over background, border color and opacity settings. You can also set the color, size and font face properties for the text as well as the border thickness and padding between the content and border.
Supports pixel fonts and HTML text
Pixel fonts remain crisp and clear at all times. For maximum flexibility, you may also add HTML tags to your text. This can also be used to create multi-line text.
Follow mouse pointer or appear at fixed position
Set the tooltip to follow the mouse pointer or have it appear at a fixed position in the center or corner of the object. The tooltip can also be set to appear only once the mouse has stopped moving.
Custom alignment and image position options
Align the component to the top left, top right, bottom left or bottom right of its position. The image may be set to appear above or below the text as well as left, right or center aligned. The X/Y offset can also be adjusted.
Adjustable in and out delay times
The tooltip can appear or disappear after an adjustable delay time.
Supports sound
You can choose to play a sound from your library each time the tooltip appears.
Autosize feature
Use the autosize feature to resize the component based on the size of the text displayed or specify the width and height of the component manually.
Complete Actionscript API
All of the component's parameters can be accessed through ActionScript.
Very light weight
Adds only 6KB to the size of your movie.
