Multiple source objects support
The Progress Bar component monitors progress from multiple data sources (eg: movie clip, XML, sound, loader).
Choice of fill direction
The Progress Bar fill direction can be changed to either left,right or center.
Custom text for label
Any custom text (eg. %itemsFullyLoaded% out of %itemsTotalLoaded% items Loaded) can be specified for the label together with custom placeholders for displaying the amount of loaded data (the underlined items represents only two types of placeholders that can be used inside your label text).
Label position adjustment
The label position can be set anywhere around the Progress Bar fill. You can set any value (both negative and positive values are supported) that fits best with your requirements.
Choice of Progress Bar fill easing
You can set and adjust a specific easing for the Progress Bar fill animation. Built in there are four easing types you can choose from (basic, elastic, bounce and inertia).
Automatic/Manual progress
You can set the manual mode to display progress from various processes (providing your own data to the component) other than preloading. The default mode is automatic.
Choice of different display modes
The Progress Bar display mode can be either text (only the label) or graphic (only the Progress Bar track and fill animation)or both.
Customizable skins on a per instance or global basis
You can create your own graphic symbols and customize the look and feel of the component per instance (you can have two Progress Bar instances with different skins) or global basis.
Skin elements color overlays
You can use the color parameters to adapt the default Progress Bar color scheme to your needs.
Dynamic control through ActionScript API
The component can be adjusted dynamically using the available properties/methods and events.

The component has a built in Help Book that can be accessed anytime, via the Flash Help Panel for a complete list and samples of supported methods, properties and events.
