Flash Wave Flag Effect
This is an ActionScript 3.0 reusable class or a Flash effect that simulates a "flag in the wind". This product includes the source files.
You can apply this class to any DisplayObject. What makes it special is that it will work on a Sprite, MovieClip, TextFiled, and at the same time you can add MouseEvent listeners to them.
This class can simulate a "flag in the wind" keeping the left part of the DisplayObject fixed or animating the entire DisplayObject without any restrictions.
All you need to do is to instantiate the class with a single line of code like this:
var waveObject:WaveObject = new WaveObject(flag1_mc);
waveObject - the instance class
flag1_mc - in this case this is a MovieClip but it can be any type of DisplayObject, this is the DisplayObject to which the effect will be applied.
The class is well commented and easy to understand. Along with this product you receive a help.txt file explaining how to set it up. Enjoy!
