If you look at the methods it seems you can do a lot.. but it's not true..
This player looks very handy to save you some time..
But it has a lot of buggy stuff in it.
I hope they will fix it soon..
You don't need to know any code. You just need basic familiarity with Flash. You can add buttons to control the player from outside of the flvPlayerPRO if you wish.
It only supports videos that are in .flv format. You can stream videos from any streaming server that supports .flv.
How much code do I need to know to intergrate this component into my site, html xml php Action Script 3 other?
Do I access the player and playlist from a button on my home page?
What is the work flow for managing large and varied media clips for this playlist? Only FLV's?, H.264, Quicktime Mpeg4/2 ?
Directly uploadable from dvcCast?
You can change the XML file of the playlist dynamically through ActionScript so you can create categories with buttons and when you click on the category button, it will load the XML file for that category.
I wonder if there is possible to include multiple categories every one with separate XML file

I am considering purchasing this component for a portfolio section on my personal website. I need something that can show video and images (jpeg files or whatever). Will this work for me?
