Hi,
I just finish downloading the player. LOOKS GREAT!!
The text under the video got really small, How do I change it to the font size like on:
http://www.flashcomponents.net/upload/samples/1602/index.html?full=true
I try editing the .text style under the style.css on the CSS folder and it didnt take any effect..
Take a look on the text size on my site:

Thanks,
elad

Hi,
Thx, the font used by default is a pixel font having a max size ok 8 px . You need to edit the text filed and change the font type.
Also open the FLA file, go and select the title text field and open the Properties Panel then click embed button because there might be some character sets that are already embedded and remove all embedded character sets. So click Don’t Embed button, Ok and export the new swf if this is the case.

No plans on a multiple catagory like you other video file?
Also I have paid for a player already….could I use that player and target it with your file instead?? Is that straightforward to do?

We’ll add multiple category sometime soon. Don’t know what to say about other player you’ve purchased from someone else.

I read a post for wishing to have more than 12 videos and the answer was to go to the tips and tricks. I have been there, but don’t seem to find the answer. I try to add more cells in the videoLayout1.html file, but it doesn’t work. I also add the info to the videoinfo.xml.
Can you please tell me which number on the tips page is the answer? Can you just explain it in novice terms?
Thanks

Hi,
You simply add cells like other cells you see inside the video html layout page but assign them the next id number value in ascending order. Also make sure that all tags and attributes are closed and lowercase, for example one of the most common mistakes is to not close the image <img> tag at the end using “/” like <img etc…./> or the <br /> tag. If the tags are not close the page will not render correctly.
If all these information are correct in both the html and the xml file then it will work just fine.

Thanks so much. That was the problem. I was in the design mode and the "/" was not at the end. Thanks for your prompt response.

Hello,
Everything is working fine with the exception on a font problem. The Movie Title text, in the flash, is fine but the movie description text is too small.
Problem: The movie description text below the movie is too small and their appears to be no way to change the size is using the XML or CSS properties. I also tried the FIX you suggested for elad. I opened the FLA file in CS4 and the ‘videoDescripton’ has no font paramertes assigned to it.
My movie looks the same as his(elads): http://www.asaflentz.com/T2/TEMP_GALLERY/
In the FLA, does the videoDescription object need text parameters assigned to it? If not where do I add/change font characteristics in the FLA?
Thanks in advance for your help. PS, I am using FlashCS4 to open the file. Thanks again. M

Hi,
Double click the video description clip and you’ll see a dynamic text field inside. Select that text field and open the Properties Panel and adjust the font attributes you need.
Regards,

“Double click the video description clip and you’ll see a dynamic text field inside. Select that text field and open the Properties Panel and adjust the font attributes you need.”
I did this and changed the font to Verdana 10 point and saved it out as a CS3 SWF. Looks beautiful!! Thanks for the help and directions!
