Has bought the file

Would it be possible to modify this FLA so that the structure of the XML file can use nested tags instead of attributes?

as it is now the XML looks like:
<item image=“image.jpg” label=“label” data=“URL” />

I’d rather have:

<item> <image>image.jpg</image> <label>item 1</label> <url>URL</url> </item>

would that be doable?

Also where exactly should the action script that allows HS to be used for nav go?

thanks.

I am looking for more help on adding URL’s.

I am not sure where this script goes.

function clickHandler(dat, lbl) { // handler function receives “data” as string and “label” as string getURL(dat);
}

Thanks

Can someone please help. I am trying to link the boxes to an html page to start with but really I want to link within the swf files itself via frame label ect. I read the post about linking but it is unclear where the function script below needs to go.

function clickHandler(dat, lbl) { getURL(dat);
}
Does anyone know where this function script needs to go to get this link to work?

Here is what I have in the xml file:

<scroller>

<item image=“thumbs/11.jpg” label=“this is my link” data=“www.apple.com”/>

</scroller>

Any help is greatly appreciated

How do you change the label’s font color?

your scroller looks just like what i need, but i would need to remove all saturation, reflection, and text effects. is this possible?

1. Is there a more advanced modification I could make to the script to allow scrolling to be slower than "1"?
2. Is there a way to adjust both the speed and direction (ie right to left) that the thumbnails have when they first slide into view?

thanks
