The template you have here is doing the same thing when I customize it for my own data. The News List1 comes up blank. If you select the News List2 it comes up fine, and then when you go back to News List1 it appears ok.
I highly traffic will use this as it is, what can I do to resolve this? Here is my sample https://www.nolimitshealth.com/freewaterfacts/HTMLNewsTicker_AS3/index.html
Thanks
Gwen

Hi,
First make sure you have setted up everything correctly in both main xml configuration file and each individual category xml file.
When editing the html layout files make sure that all tags and attributes are correctly closed and lowercase. One common mistake is for example to not close the <img etc /> tag at the end using / or the <br /> tag.
As a suggestion upload first the exact original files in a folder on your server and check if they are working just fine like in the online preview here. If they work just fine then it will also work just fine after you edit correctly the content within these files.

Ok, I double checked that tags. All appear ok. My file is playing exactly the same as the original in the download. Even your own will not come up in autoplay on News List1. Only by selecting News List2 and then going back to News List1 does it work. See what I mean here http://www.freewaterfacts.com/index_flash_test1.html
On another of your files I use, I am getting a similiar weird thing in that the file intially opens ok, but then whenever you click anything, and then come back, a fade appears over the banner. See what I mean here http://www.freewaterfacts.com/index_flash_test1.html

Hi,
The product you are talking about in your online examples is XML Banner Rotator 2 and not the HTML News Ticker.
XML Banner Rotator 2 was just updated ( yesterday ) so you can login online and download the latest product package from the Downloads area of the respective product.

Thanks for the component.
I was a little disappointed that the source AS/FLA files were not included in the download.
I wanted to modify the AS to account for entries without images. I also wanted to see if I could modify the code that reads the HTML template — That sure is an interesting way to put stuff into flash… Any chance that you could release a version of this that uses only XML, and not HTML?
Overall, I like this component, and the price can not be beat, but I would like to have the source files and I am not a fan of the HTML templates. :)
Overall, nice work! Thanks!

Hi,
We’re glad tht you’ve found the component useful.
The source .fla file is included inside the download package. Look for the htmlnewslist.fla source file and you can edit it to suit your needs.

I tried to order your FT All Files Package using my Visa card but ran into the following error:
"Due to legal restrictions, we cannot accept registrations from residents of Nigeria".
I live in Abuja, Nigeria.
Do you have any other options for making payment? Many thanks.
