HTML / XML Video List
the video & sound plays perfect on my computer but the sound doesn‘t play in the player. do you know what might be the problem?
In the player clip / ReadMe layer you will find the fullScreenVideoHeightGain and fullScreenVideoWidthtGain variable that you can adjust to control the video size in full screen mode.
Is there anyway to control the full size resolution? I kind of want full size to be the resolution of my video, not full screen.
Thanks for your help FT! I feel a bit silly now
Your image grid worked slightly different (re-sized itself) and I think I was expecting the video player to work the same way.
Hi,
Oh, but the objects doesn‘t automatically positioning themselves. You manually select your Flash movie document properties first and set the size you want, after that move the video list and scroller in the position you want (I guess you want to move it on the left side close to the video component). So you have total freedom to handle the positioning/resizing of each object.
And don‘t forget first to open the Flash document properties and set the 600×300 px for the movie stage (this is what you want) and after that do all the objects positioning/resizing stuff to fit within this area you want.
Best,
FT
My problem is that even when I resize the video component and the scrollbar components (both below the player and in the video list area using the component inspector), it does not resize the entire global area of the player. It just become a huge player with tiny elements floating in it. I would like the entire player resized down to 600×300.
See image at the following location to see what I mean:

Hi there,
You already did what need to be done:
1. resize the video component to your desired size
2. set the html layout as you want
3. select the scroll bar component and open the component inspector panel and set the viewAreaWidth / viewAreaHeight at the size you want.
Repeat the steps in no particular order till you achieve the global size you need for your .fla file.
Best,
FT
Hi Flashtuning,
Would you mind elaborating a little bit on how to resize the entire video player? I have looked through the file extensively and cannot figure this out. I can resize the actual video, and I can resize the side table using the html and Flash file but I cannot seem to resize the entire element. I need my video to be very close to 600×300 as well.
I also purchased your image grid and was able to resize that one very easily. This one I cannot figure out
Hi,
You have to open the .fla file inside Flash and adjust the graphics and component parameters to get the desired look. Check the read me text file and the quick start quides for the components used in the .flafile to get familiarized with the application customization.
