Description
ikoOte is a full flash website that gives you the chance to finally have simplicity and elegance in one window.

While ikoOte gives you the professional look that you are searching for, you will not need to learn a single line of actionscript to install and use it.
Everything in ikoOte is XML driven, including its 6 modules.

In addition to the 6 packed modules, you can add more AS2 files to ikoOte and use them as modules.




What does ikoOte mean?
Many people asked me about this, ikoOte means absolutely nothing, I took initials of two people who are close to me and the other 4 letters were just to make up the rest of the word.
So sorry to disappoint you, but it means nothing :)




What do I get when I purchase ikoOte ?
You get 6 fully functioning modules, a gallery , a video gallery , Flash/HTML page , portfolio/Slideshow/Gallery module , a traditional slideshow and a contact form.

Not to mention that you get a free High Definition copy of the sea loop which is used as a background (#2).
Yes, ikoOte supports video backgrounds.

Features
Not used necessarily for features display, some people used it to display their services, some used it for welcome messages.

Number of messages and their content can be easily edited via the source file.

Traditional gallery
Have as many images as you can and organize them in as many albums as you want using this gallery.

Not only does it look good, it's easy to use too.
All images , titles , descriptions , albums and gallery options can be controls using its XML files.

Video gallery
Capture life as it happens, then re-live your moments and share it with other people using this video gallery.
Or just display trailers of video games :)

All videos have titles and descriptions and gallery options are controlled via XML too.

Flash/HTML field
A long HTML formatted field , you can use just about every HTML tag supported by Flash in this module, decorate the page to your liking

That means you can use links, images, underlined text, embed SWF files, use paragraphs and everything.

This module can be used as an "about me" page , a news module or any other HTML based application that you can imagine.

Contact form
Keep your visitors in touch with you using this elegant contact form, all data and information on the left are HTML formatted , that means you can use links images, underlined text and all.

Portfolio
Show off your work using this sophisticated portfolio.
Organize your work into categories of your own choice, that means that you can use years, names or whatever you want.

Video backgrounds
Don't you like action? most people do, add some action to the background and use FLV videos as backgrounds of ikoOte.




Opens with Flash 8, but you don't really need it
ikoOte can be edited using Flash 8, but if you don't have it , you don't need to purchase it... you can change just about everything from XML files, including modules.





What about your old AS2 files?
You can still use them, if there is a module in ikoOte that you don't need , you can just remove it from the menu.

If you want to use any other Flash 8 file , you can...simply edit the main XML file and add your module to the list.

You can have as many modules as you can, ikoOte now has sub-menus.
