I’m having a bit of trouble getting this working. I have a feeling it is because I’m unsure what to do with the below info:


// Concnating the valuses
$message = “Name: “.$name.” Message:”.$getMessage.” Message Sent from IP:”.$getIP;
// Sender email information from the form
$sender = “From:”. $_REQUEST[“email”];


What does “Concnating the valuses” mean? What info in these lines do I need to change?

This component does not include the date header in the email, you’ll have to add it yourself in the php file. Some email clients will see the date as “unknown”.

Can you also include the _sans font. I don’t know what font it is, but when I open the .fla file, a substitution is made, and the form no longer looks like what you are selling.

Figured out the problem lies in the display mechanism I am using. I am using MediaWiki and the Flash extension. When the extension loads the flash, the working directory is the root of the MediaWiki installation and that is not where I had the .swf or the mailer.php file.


Would be nice if you included the 2 fonts in with the installation. For some reason I don’t have Wingdings2 on my machine, but I’m sure I can find it somewhere.

Still no luck with this component. I get Message Send Failed, but I have no idea what happened, no error message to help track it down. PHP is installed, I’ve tested the mail() php call, but nothing seems to be working.

When you enter something incorrect it says to please correct all fields highlighted in red, but none of the fields are highlighted in red. I tried your link thinking it was my install, but yours does the same thing.


I also get a “Send Failed” on my site but, it must be a config issue on my end.
