Rain Drop - Water Effect
Actionscript 3 component.
A very simple drag and drop component.
Simply adjust 4 parameters and you are all set:
- it can simulate the rain and you can set the intensity
- you can enable a mouse over effect and the intensity
Very easy to install
If you don't like the drag and drop, you can attach it via actionscript and set the params through simple functions.
Examples and a 'how-to-use' guide are available within the package

Doesn’t work properly on wide stages. Failed to work across the entire width of my 980 pixel wide stage.
Has the author tried his tutorial using a stage size greater than 900 wide and say 130 tall? I have the same issue. The effect doesn’t cover the whole stage regardless of what I do.

yes, please follow the tutorial below or you just can replace the movieclip within the example file.
hello all,
did anyone found the solution?
still the same problem.. it only covers a small area.
Yes, simply read the tutorial below
I did purchase it and it is very nice, but it only covers a small area. I would like for it to cover a complete web page and it just defaults to the upper right hand corner. Can the size be adjusted?
Thank you in advance for any help you can give.
