Component Description :

The RSS Reader displays the title, link, pubDate and description from items in your RSS feed. Includes instructions on how to easily make your own feed! Your visitors can subscribe to it for all your latest news.

* The RSS 2 .0 feed is parsed by a PHP file. (If you don't have PHP 5 support on your web server, download the additional PHP 4 version).

* You can change the colours of the item title, link colour, link hover colour, preloader and RSS icon through the PHP file

* You can easily change the size, layout and design in the Flash file.

Please note that it is not guaranteed that all RSS feeds will work with this reader. If the description field contains only html characters that are compatible with flash, then it should work. Alternatively there are instructions on how to strip html tags from the description in the php file which should then allow it to work. Also any images that are embeded in the description need to have their height and width specified in order for the scroller to work properly. If you use the provided sample RSS file then you shouldn't have any problems .

You can now purchase this as part of the News Viewer Package:
