Probably the most flexible Flash video player.
Making a skin is as easy as creating buttons with Photoshop and editing an XML file, without even opening Flash!
You can practically put any image to every button and every button in any order on the control bar.
If you like to use one of the skins from the demos, it's extremely easy to customize them (add or remove buttons and change their position)
Besides that, the video player has virtually every option an advanced video player should have.
Here are just a few:
- autoLoad, autoPlay, autoResize, loopVideo
- click, double-click, spacebar, mouseWheel, arrowKeys
- control bar slide in & out

- center buttons

I really like the player. its super fast and clean. I’m facing one issue though. I’ve configured a jpg file as the image which appears when the player is in the pause/stop mode. Howevr the image does not show up easily. If you refresh the page, 2 – 3 times, it pops up all of a sudden. But never on the first run. The file size is < 100 KBs and the fact that it does show up after a few refreshes shows that the path has been properly configured. What could be the issue ?

Quick compliment, your work is excellent and i love this component.
I am however experiencing some glitches like the ones “sachinbhatnaga” had posted on May 24th… the “placeholder” image which appears when the player is in the pause/stop mode does not show up easily. If you refresh the page, 2 ??" 3 times, it pops up all of a sudden. But never on the first run. The file size is < 100 KBs and the fact that it does show up after a few refreshes shows that the path has been properly configured. What could be the issue ? I looked for a response, but i didn’t see one.
I would consider implementing your other player “video_player_fx” if it would help or provide a fix.

Almost forgot…the “glitch” sometimes includes the entire botton nav bar (will not show up), where the only controls are play/pause by clicking the player itself.

I am having real issues trying to get three players working on one page. I have followed the directions offered by naresh11381 on page three of the comments but still cant get this working.
How does the xmlrequest actually interact with the swf file? As the player will work fine without these files I don’t understand how changing the xml locations within this helps.
If you could please give step by step directions on how to get this working it would be greatly appreciated.

I am having real issues in playing videos... it appear the start image in a big picture and the player control don't appear... we need to refresh the page couple of time just to show the player control at the bottom and display the start image in correct size. We are using skin1.

Hi Snowcat, Thanks again for you awesome video player, I only have one issue with the full screen button. I am using Adobe Dreamweaver and I use the default flash insert functionality, but after this when I test my video the fulls creen button does not work, it toggles to two square when i click on it but the video is still in small size and does not change to full screen. Please advice,

Hi! Great player!
I have it working for one video and I am still having difficulty understanding how to get more than one player on the same page. I found the xmlrequest.as file but I never uploaded that file to my server and I already have the first one working fine, so I am not understanding how modifying that file is going to make a difference.
I would love love love to hear about the flash vars solution on loading a different settings.xml file.

Thank you for this great player, but i have some problems:
I made two buttons in one flash movie, that need to load two different video on the stage, i made changes in to xml and made snowcat_flv.swf and snowcat_flv2.swf (when i play those files separately they play different video like they need to), but when i use the buttons to load them in the main swf, no mather what button you press there is only one video (the one that is first presed).
I have searched that swf remembers the xml files in memory. so i gess once the button is pressed i have that xml in memory. i don't know how to refresh or how to remove the first xml.
