Hi, I’m just wondering if your component can:
1) display three images/thumbnails at a time (when I set it to display 3 images in the xml, it displays cropped images to the side)
2) Will allow control buttoms (<<previous next>>)
3) Will allow slideshow/play (play>)

Hi,
I bought it yesterday. Now I’m trying to get an url on the thumb nail.

And I turn the param thumb click action to url and thumb clickable to true.
thumb clickable => true I receive this error
TypeError: Error #1010: Ein Begriff ist nicht definiert und hat keine Eigenschaften. at scripts.components::PageController/click_eh()
But nothing happend.
Please be so kind give me advise to this problem.

Hi! I LOVE this gallery! I am having a really hard time changing out the images, and have come to the conclusion I am not as Flash savvy as I thought I was. Do you have any instructions for changing out the images you’ve put together by any chance? I am happy to pull images from a folder or my website, just need to get them changed. I’m working in Flash CS3.

Is it possible to rename the content.xml file so that i can load two galleries from the same folder on the server, can you tell me where to modify so that the new swf will look for the renamed content file

Thanks for the question – the content.xml is specified on line 29 of the gallery.as file in the scripts folder – you should be able to change that and recompile a new version to use a different gallery – let me know if you have any other questions!

thank you; this is a very well made component
i have a quick question – i have a main swf that i use to load your gallery swf
my main swf is 1920×1080 (not 1024×768), and i have set the boolean to true for the ‘insideSWF’ in the content.xml file, but my main swf is also scalable so i’d like to know how to set this swf to scale up as well, please

an addition to my previous post – i have changed the start x and y position, and scaled the tumbs up to 200×200, so they look great when loaded from my main 1920×1080 movie, but the zoomed images are not centered – i’m guessing there is some code in one of the as files that i can tweak? thanks again! :)

Hi Jodi, I apologize, I thought I already posted the response to this.
Question 1 : There is no way in the current version to have it automatically scale to a parent SWF’s size.
Question 2: The image thumbnail is always placed at 0,0 and stretched or cropped to fit based on that location. There is no way to center image on the thumbnail, my suggestion would be to create separate thumbnails from your images and make those thumbnails square that way you can do all your own cropping..

I brought the script folder in the folder of my animation and file content.xml too.

Hi, I have a problem.
When I put the “Maximum pictures along x axis” at 3, and set the “How should the page scroll?” to button, only 4 images appear in the gallery. If I change either “Maximum pictures along x axis” to 1, or “How should the page scroll?” to mouse suddenly all the images are appearing again.
However I want 3 thumbnails displayed and button navigation. How is this fixed please?

I found in the demo a lot of errors, if you look at the edge of the main screen, the shade is actually not at the edge of the page, so the images go behind and you can still see it.
Improvements could be a scroll bar for people who don’t want to use mouse to scroll, the XML Options could be more of a hidden bar on the bottom maybe beside the scroller.
