Hello Flashblue,
I’m jon and I’ve just bought your great vertical menu component.
I’m sorry to come to you but I think I need some more helps about it…
When I open the html document it works very well (By the way, very good job…!!!)
But by using Flash CS4 software, IMPOSSIBLE. I really don’t understand why!! I tried to publish, to add some Class and so on but When I “test movie” there is no result §!ç%ù^¨!!!
so maybe you know the solution to this issue, and it would be grate if you could help me on that point..!
Many thanks to you
Jon

I just bought the product and had the same problem. The compiled SWF file works fine, but the FLA file doesn’t work at all. There’s no code, no object, nothing at all in the FLA that would create the effect… which is why the effect doesn’t happen when compiled.
Please assist! This product is unusable right now!

Source code is included in com/flashdo/flashblue folder.
You should install “Swis721 Cn BT” font before compile it. Otherwise, you can’t see menu fonts.
You can change font from library & source code.
Firstly, change dynamic textfield font in menu/fonts movieclip in library.
Then, open com/flashdo/flashblue/ScaleMenu.as. Replace “Swis721 Cn BT” to your font’s name.
Finally, recompile fla.

I've added the correct font to my computer but it still doesn't produce anything when compiled...
I looked at the sample index.html file that comes with the component and noticed that the XML location was commented out, this line:
//xmlUrl: "path/to/xml/filename.xml" //Use to change XML filename or location
Could that have something to do with it?

I'm using CS4 and yes Flash 9 is installed and chosen in the output settings.
Tried changing it to a different font, no luck...

I just tried it in CS3 and it worked!!
Why won't it work in CS4? That's the version the other guy was having his problem with, too.

I’ll try it with CS4. Thanks for telling me that issue.

why doesn’t any transparent mode work? :/ i’m stuck. wmode=“transparent” or writing transparent in CSS seems not working. Do I have to have a flash pro to edit the .fla and make it transparent?

You should write
after bgcolor property in index.html sample page.
