XML Configuration to change colors, paths and default weather location
User Can Enter any Location in the World

- Looks great with any background color. Try the color picker in the preview to change the background color.
- You need php, asp or another server side scripting enabled
Choose to let the user change loactions or not by this tag: "userChange" //true or false
- Displays the current temperature and weather conditions anywhere in the world with a brief up to date forcast using yahoos rss feed
- If more than 1 location matches, you will be able to select the proper location. (example: try Paris, France or Green, IN)
- Refreshes automatically every 15 minutes so it will stay current
- User can change the weather location to anywhere in the world (all the countries have been included in my array)
- Drag the weather around the stage or turn this feature off
- Uses local shared object to store the users last entries and loads them the next time they visit
- You can disable the local shared object if you want the same location to be displayed all the time
- Toggle between celsius and fahrenheit using bottom tabs
- Movie clip can be easily dropped into any current flash project or use as is on any web page

Is it possible to disable both the “location” and the “forecast” tabs through the XML, so that it remains a very compact widget that just displays today’s weather?

You can disable the location tab through the xml but not the forecast tab. All you would have to do is open .fla and guide out the layer the forecast movie clip is on and it won’t show up.

Hello,
Just a question : why the first dropdownlist (where is marked : enter a city above) in the demo is disabled (off) ?
Since all cities of a country have no weather data, so to avoid user have "location not found" when he enter a city without data, can we remove the textbox (city name) and activate a dropdownlist of the real cities, those have weather data ?

An unfortunate remark about : Weather Conditions V2 5 Day Forecast World Wide
When we load your demo page, the coutry-listbox is set to 'US', the citylistbox is enabled but when we choose a city, it has no effect, a red message tell us 'you must enter a city',
This is a veritable problem, because the user don't know if the city to which he thinks have a weather data or not, and sometimes he does not know how to write exactly his city,
Now when we change the country in the coutry-listbox, from usa to another coutry, france for example, the city-listbox is simply disabled and the user doesn't can use it anymore,
In all cases the city-listbox is absolutely of no use, so can we remove the 'enter-city' field and make the city-listbox really functional in order that when the user select a city he has a weather data ?
