I'm just learning about wed design and things of the sort, but my question is can you have the image change when the mouse rolls over it, and then auto play when it moves off of it. also can it auto play after you select a image, I've noticed on the demo once you click a image the auto play stops running. again I'm new to web design so i hope these questions are not stupid ones

Hi,
To make the images change on roll-over, instead of when you click the thumbs, you will need to make some small modifications to the component (it shouldn't be hard but you need to know a bit of action script - or hire someone who does).
About the autoplay stopping, there is a property in the settings xml file called disableAutoPlayWhenClicked that can be set to '0' or '1'. In this demo it's set to '1'.
Also, feel free to download the free version (check the download link in the description), play around with it and see if it fits your needs (you can also provide feedback that we will take into account when doing updates).
Best regards,
FlashTuning Support

Hi, can the display part (image) of the gallery not adapt to horizontal as well as vertical images?

Do you have to hard code each and every image that you want to add?

Hi,
You only need to place the paths to the images, inside the xml files. You can download the free version and test it to see how the component can be used.

Hello, i don't know why, but the gallery doesn't work on google chrome... it seems to be related to the way xml is interpreted.... Please help !

We've already sent you an email. You simply need to have more than one image in order for the gallery to work like you see in this online example on fc site.

Hey Guys, how do I hide buttons (as per your example) Also is it possible to set an background color for the thumbnail menu (say, alpha50% black). And how do I set the transition type to be alpha fade / dissolve? Sorry to bug you with questions but the readme seems a little light on information... Is there somewhere I can find all the options and parameters for the XML settings that can be used?

Can I embed this in my Flash Website? I want it to be on a portfolio page and not a stand-alone thing.

I'm looking for a component that when I select a thumbnail, I can display an ASP.NET gridview based on the image selected. Does your component allow for some sort of communication, interface, etc..?
