Hi,

If the fade function is commented also go on top and look for the this.parent.alpha = 0; and set it to 1. You can also upgrade to Advanced Image Gallery product which contains more features by login into your online account going to the buy now tab and you’ll see the upgrade button.

Hello,
I’ve been trying to get this component to work and I have figured out how to solve most of the issues I’ve run into by studying previous questions. However, there is one problem I need help with. Sometimes, on loading, the slide show appears dimmed and remains that way. Other times it appears fully visible. I seems that a transparency command is not fully executing. I tried commenting out the fade function in the code, but this only made everything go black. Seems like there is a bug in the code. Can you tell me how to fix this so that the slideshows showup fully visible? Is there an upgrade that fixes this problem? Other than this problem, I like this component just fine. Thanks

Check the Advanced Image Gallery XML!

Hi,

If you’re loading the gallery swf(s) externally use a different name for the .swf files and you can also try a different name for the xml configuration file. When you’re using two or more instances of the gallery inside the html page you’ll be using FlashVars to specify a different xml file name but I think this is a different usage case ( you can check questions 7 & 8 from the tips and tricks area – you have the link in the product description ).

You can also try editing the source file and edit the thumbnailsMenu clip and change the default xml configuration file within the read me layer with a custom xml file name for one gallery instance and export a swf for one gallery reading your custom xml file and repeat the same step for the swcond gallery and you’ll get two different swf files reading two different xml configuration files.

Hope these suggestions will help.

Best regards,

Hi, the description box dissapear thank you.
The thing is that I’m doing a full flash website, and I put the same gallery on two different frames, I want to load one xml file on one and a different one on the other. but when I change the xml name on one frame, it changes automatically to the other too, so it loads the same xml file on both. Please help, that the only thing I need to finish my website and it’s frustating since the gallery is excellent!. thank you.1

Hi,

Edit the xml configuration file and set the <object param=“showDescriptionBox” value=“1” /> to zero.

Use different xml file names and different Flash objects ( swf ) file names.

Check also questions number 7 & 8 from the tips and tricks area regarding FlashVars.

Hi, thank you for the help it works now. Another question, how can I remove the info box that appears when I move the cursor into the big photo? I don’t need it neither the title.
Also, I copied this gallery and put it in another frame but It shows the same pictures on both.
I sell tshirts and I wanted to show the boys and girls each of them on separate galleries but when I change the config.xml in one frame to be boys.xml but it does the same on the other frame. I wanted to recall boys.xml on one frame and girls.xml on the other. Hope you can help, thank you
