This is a easy to use news ticker, smooth, slick and extremely flexible, you can easily change the graphics and from the xml you can resize the entire news ticker with dimensions for the whole widget. All the components will resize and the news ticker will have a wonderful look. The button's title, subtitle and date enlarges on as many rows as it needs, the news box's title can enlarge on multiple rows (as many as it needs) and the picture will resize by ratio. You can even use swf's.

From the xml you can modify the:
- total widget's size (width and height)
- toggle the widget's blur option
For each news you will be able to specify:
- title/subtitle/date
- picture/swf address
- set the picture's/swf's position (before or after the html description)
- toggle the picture's/swf's border and specify it's color
- toggle the url launching and of course change the url and target

The description html/css field can be easily customized if you follow the help file instructions.

I’m sorry you feel this way, I do agree that there seams to be a problem and we will get it fixed, it has not been reported before and somehow it has slipped through our careful QA process. Our devs as you noticed tried to help you out, but it seams they didn’t understand what the problem was.


Just so you better understand where we stand, you are not the second person to purchase this, more like the 100th considering that only on one other site it’s been sold in 55 copies and it has a five star rating given by 6 buyers and we sell on 7 different sites. One other thing you should know is that FC has reset all purchase statistics in Februrary 09 and the file was purchased 30 times before just on FC. This led us to believe there were no issues with the file itself and our devs concentrated on the common flash setup/testing issues.


I will post another message here once the file is updated and the bug fixed. I’m really sorry for all the trouble you went through and if you feel it would help you could ask for a refund on this file and we will allow FC to do it, no questions asked.

I was the second unfortunate person to buy this “xml news scroller 3” componet, the pictures links don’t work and the Oxylusers just didn’t care.


they don’t offer any kind of support, there’s a forum but it’s pure waste of time, they have millions of excuses in order to evade their responsabilities.


heres my example:

the whole forum is full of unanswered questions, my request was not for customization, it is a legitimate right to use the component as it is offered in the sample.


as a recomendation on my own:


1 – never buy a component if it has been downloaded only a couple of times.


2 – check out the kind of support the authors offer, if you see unanswered questions something smells bad.

but still don't find the css entry were I can change the Font size of the title on the 2.nd side.

When I changed the word: "back" into "zur?ck", the "?" wasn't shown. Is there a way to fix that?

Is there a possibility to remove the complete header with "latest news" in it? I have problems to edit this movieclip. For example: I changed the color to red in the flash file, exported it and it still was blue.
