Hello angelucci.diego! Sorry, but this product was not developed for including to another flash project. But you can use this product as external page together with your project. Also if you have some skills in flash developing i can give you instruction for a images size changes.

To splashy:
just open AS editor in actions layer in first frame and put _root.show_init(0); into “init” function after 82 line. Zero it’s first big photo

Hi Hunter,
I posted a question to you yesterday under your other XML Slide component with music; however since I didn’nt need music, I purchased this component last evening after you answered my questions. Thank you for the very quick response.
I have your component up & running & it is very nice.
But I have some questions:
1. I am using Flash professional 8 & I am getting a error msg – unexpected file format when I try to open the fla.
2. I wanted to open the .fla to try to change the background color. Is it as simple as changing the background color setting? This is a important change that I need to be able to make.
3. An even more important change is the ability to change the font. Your default font is kind of techno and it doesn’t fit with my application. Ideally, I would like to choose the font, but Verdana, Georgia, Arial is ok.
4. Finally, I couldn’t get the component to work in my html page unless I put everything in the root. I wanted to use a directory structure to keep things organized. Is having all the files in the root a requirement.
Please help with these issues and TIA.

Since I haven’t seen a response from my earlier post, would these changes be easier to implement
- Is it easier to just take out the text that says XML Slide Gallery, I don’t want any label to display there. When I took out the text in the xml file, it came up with undefined.
- Can the mirror reflection that displays when the info box slides up at the bottom be taken out as well
Thanks.

open FLA then, open Symbol 1 in library and deleted title layer from timeline

Can you give more details about what you need?

- Yes, pls. send me the .fla as a Flash 8 - CS2 file.
- When you click on a thumbnail to open the larger image, at the bottom of the image is a mirror reflection. How do you delete that?
Thanks for your help

I am trying to load this album.swf into another flash project like this;
mcLoader.loadClip(“album.swf”,myLoader);
I put every file into the same folder.
Unfortunately, this album.swf doesn’t show up on the page.
any advice?

“Action Script 2 XML gallery” uses absolute “_root” vars path and can’t be able to use as external mc in another flash via loadClip()
But, you can use it as another html page and create link to this page from your flash project or you can change absolute vars name to relative in “Action Script 2 XML gallery”‘s source.

Hi DHunter,
Thank you for sending me this file in Flash 8 and for your timely help. I was able to modify the look & feel of the gallery to my specifications.
I haven’t seen where to rate your component, but I give it 5 stars and I look forward to your next applications.

How do you adjust the initial opacity of the thumbnail before you roll over it. I want the thumbnails to be a little lighter, ie not so dark.

you can edit line 156
var myColorTransform:Object = {ra:50, rb:0, ga:50, gb:0, ba:50, bb:0, aa:100, ab:0};
if values of ra,ga,ba reduce thumbs will be more darker, if to increase thumbs will be more lighter
