is there possibility to specify location of XML playlist, or it’s hardcoded?
hello
install flash player exPlayerEmbededInAFla_V3 in my hand but when the section is not removed the video, I have to do to remove the video that change each section (sections are in a movie clip, each in a frame)
I think the problem is with the xml file, you made some mistake when you edit the file.
Use the original xml fil from the download sources until you make it work then change your videos.
Here is the error I get when I test it now…
TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties. at index_fla::HOLDERFORTHUMBS_20/setUpTotalNumbersOfClips() at MethodInfo-58() at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEventFunction() at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent() at flash.net::URLLoader/onComplete()
I set strict mode to false. Now the project publishes without error. But when viewing it in the browser on the site, the player is there, but no videos.
Make sure you are using strict mode set to false.
You can do that like this :
Setings -> Flas tab -> again Settings right next to Actionscript Version -> uncheck Strict Mode.
I think this will fix the errors.
I followed the instructions…
“Instructions For implementation:
Its as easy as 1-2-3
1. Drag and drop the movieclip into your project
2. Edit the simple XML file (loading/play_list.xml)
3. Put your videos into the loading/movies folder.”
I dragged and dropped the movieclip into my project.
I edited the simple XML file.
I put the videos into the loading/movies folder.
... and when I published the project, I got 19 errors. Almost as many dollars as I spent on this.
I’m at a beginner level with AS3, but quite familiar with Flash. What gives?
You need to modifiy the code for that. I made this player about 8 month ago so I don’t really remember much of the code but there is a function that is creating and starting the video, you can chage there the logic, the player was build with autoplay in mind , in the future I will think of this and add some customizable variables.
Hello,
I bought your video player on Ultrashock but there was nowhere to post comments so I found you here.
Your player is awesome and have customized it fit my site. I wanted to know if there was a way not to autoplay the video. I want the visitor to activate the first video. Also, is there a way to have the video load before the player starts?
I posted a comment to you here yesterday it was taken off, I hope this gets read.
Thanks again for a cool player. Cheers,
