XML World Map with Custom List of Count...

This is completely customizable and resizable world map.
You can create different versions of map by customizing XML file.

You can set dimensions of map or show fullscreen version.
You can zoom in and zoom out map with buttons or with mouse wheel.
You can navigate with buttons and drag the map in any direction.
Each country can be clickable and on mouse click can show info text box or go to specific link, depending on XML settings.
Country rollover text can be country name or custom text defined in XML.
Rollover text and info text are html texts with styles defined in simple CSS file (included in package and easily customized: color, family, size, weight…).
You can organize countries of interest in groups; assign every group a header and/or color. Click on the country name to zoom in the country.

Map could be used for corporations to present company branches etc. or for presenting statistic e.g. world richest and poorest countries etc. or simply for pointing countries of Your interest.

You don’t need any ActionScript knowledge to get version of map adjusted to your needs.

Following features are editable via XML:

General Map Settings:
Is map resizable (full screen) or not
Map width in case map is not resizable
Background color
Countries outline color
List of countries belonging to the continent (for countries extending over two continents You can choose to which continent country belongs to, e.g. Russia could belong to Europe or Asia)
Color of the continents
Zoom percentage
Should click on the country open link or show info text box

Title Properties:
Text
Font family
Font size
Color
Style (bold, italic, underline)
Vertical align to map (top, center or bottom)
Horizontal align to map (left, center or right)

Rollover Text Properties:
Text width
Background color and transparency
Outline color and transparency.
Text style (color, family, size, weight…) is defined in CSS file included in package

Info Text Box Properties:
Text box width
Background color and transparency
Outline color and transparency
Text style (color, family, size, weight…) is defined in CSS file included in package
Vertical align to map (top or bottom)
Horizontal align to map (left or right)

Navigation Bar Settings:
Is navigation bar visible or not
Is navigation bar resizable along with map or not
Navigation buttons color
Max zoom level
Navigation label properties (text, font family, font size, bold, italic, underline)

Active Country Settings:
Rollover text for every active country
Info text for every active country
Link to open on click, for every active country
Color for every group of countries
You can choose to show or hide header for every group of active countries
Header text for every group of active countries
Header properties (font family, font size, font color, bold, italic, underline)
X and y position of the header, relatively to the background container
You can choose to show or hide active countries labels
Labels properties (font family, font size, font color, bold, italic, underline)
Labels rollover properties (font color, bold, italic, underline)
Number of columns (countries labels from every group can be organized in columns)

Background Shape of the Active Country Labels Settings:

Left padding (right padding assumed to be same as left padding)
